Splendor is a card and chip collection game for 2 to 4 players that takes about 30 minutes. Players are Renaissance gem merchants collecting gem tokens to buy development cards like mines, ships and shops. Each card you own gives a permanent gem discount on future purchases, so your buying power grows over time. Gathering the right cards attracts visiting nobles worth extra points. The first player to reach 15 points triggers the end, and turns are fast and simple.
