Savage Worlds Adventure Edition is a generic roleplaying system built for quick, action heavy play in any genre, from fantasy to horror to sci-fi. Traits are rated by die type from d4 to d12, and dice explode, so rolling the highest number lets you roll again and add it. Player characters are Wild Cards who also roll a Wild Die and keep the better result. Initiative uses a deck of playing cards, and Bennies let players reroll or soak damage. It works well for pulpy action and large fights, and many published settings use it.
