Pathfinder First Edition is a fantasy roleplaying game first released in 2009, built on and expanding the 3.5 edition d20 rules. It is set in the world of Golarion, where a Game Master guides players through adventures, often long published Adventure Paths. Characters are built from a race, class, feats and skills, with a huge range of options across many rulebooks. Actions resolve with a d20 plus modifiers against a difficulty or Armor Class. Play tends toward detailed character building and crunchy tactical combat on a grid.
