Infinity is a sci-fi skirmish game set in the Human Sphere, a near future of rival factions, alien invaders and advanced tech. Each player has a pool of orders to spend activating troopers, while enemy models can react at once with automatic reaction orders. Rolls use a d20 and are often face to face, with both players rolling at the same time. Missions focus on objectives as much as on fighting, and terrain heavy tables are the norm.
