Gloomhaven is a cooperative dungeon crawling campaign game for 1 to 4 players, with each scenario taking about 60 to 120 minutes. Players are mercenaries in a dark fantasy world, exploring ruins and dungeons and fighting monsters. Instead of dice, each character uses a hand of ability cards and picks two each turn, one for its top action and one for its bottom. Cards run out as you play, so managing your hand is crucial. Choices in the branching campaign change the story over many sessions.
