Blades in the Dark is a roleplaying game about a crew of scoundrels building a criminal enterprise in Doskvol, a haunted industrial city under a sky with no sun. Players choose a playbook, like Cutter or Lurk, and a crew type, then plan heists, fight rivals and manage their turf. Rolls use pools of six sided dice where the highest die counts, and the GM sets position and effect before you roll. Flashbacks let you reveal past preparations mid job, and stress, trauma and downtime keep the costs of crime front and center.
